ROCHELLE, Ill. – One woman has died after being hit by a train in Rochelle Tuesday afternoon.
Rochelle Police identified the woman as Kristen J. Jaworski, 27, of Rockford.
Police and fire crews arrived to the scene near Rochelle Train Park around 3 p.m. Despite lifesaving efforts from the Rochelle Fire Department, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rochelle Police say the death is under investigation.
